Sunshine Coast and a Wedding!

Brian and I got up bright and early this morning to head to the Sunshine Coast for Brendan and Ashley's wedding! We had some time to spare before the wedding so we went to the beach....

Tag pushed his way between us, so I had to try and get a picture (it was super bright out, we were all squinting!)

There were 1000's of mini muscles all over the beach.. I didn't even know they were there until I heard crunching under my feet, you had to look close!

I don't think Tag liked the rock beach, he spent a lot of time sitting on the logs with us!

The wedding....

Congratulations Ashley and Brendan, it was a beautiful wedding!

Caroline and Krys with Tag, they had to come out and meet him! Tag loved all the attention!

Aunt Ruth, Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Lloyd with Dad and Jeanie, I was so happy to see them all! I didn't know they would be out!

Afternoon with Sophie and Julie

Julie was coming out to Langley to do some shopping and I just happened to txt and ask what she was up to... So I met up with Julie and Sophie and we had lunch at a mexican place... then for a walk and pina colada smoothies in Fort Langley. It was a fun afternoon!

Manning Park, Lightning Lake

We packed up our camp in the morning and headed off to find some trails for hiking...

At Beaver Pond... there were no beavers!!

Lightning Lake....

This baby deer was just along side the highway as we were driving along looking for a good place to have lunch.

Our own little tail gate party! We found a place to pull off the highway and cooked some chicken for sandwiches on the grill.
Even though it was a short little overnight trip, it was alot of fun for all of us!

Overnight Camping Trip to Manning Park

We went camping for a night at Manning Park and ended up at Mule Deer Camp site. It was really quite nice, Brian didn't like that we were next to the highway, but it didn't bother me too much.

Brian packed us up as I had to work (got off early at 1pm) and forgot to bring a pot... we had to use the frying pan to boil water!

Our camp site

Think Brian could get any more gear on his belt???

Our guard dog... Brian went to get changed and Tag kept the look out!
