Mmmmmm Cupcakes!

New post on the cupcake blog!! I love making cupcakes... lucky for me its mom's birthday next week and I get to do this all over again!! (thanks for the half sized boxes mom! They are perfect)

Archery with Mom and Elliott

Last night I went to Mom and Elliott's for dinner and to walk Tag and I ended up doing archery! It was alot of fun... Mom and Elliott have obviously been practicing because they are both very good!

So this was probably my best few shots... I did get a bunch of bulls eyes... but, this was my best all at once!!

Welcome to Autumn

Things are starting to get Halloween/Autumn like at work... we have some very creative people and daily things are looking more and more impressive! I will post more pictures soon!

Golf Anyone?

Brian's Dad very generously bought Brian golf clubs and the both of us Golf lessons recently so that we can go golfing with him when he moves to White Rock (should be in the next couple months). Brian and I had our first lesson on Thursday night, it was really awesome, we are both excited about the game now that we know some technique! We went to the driving range this morning for some practice... chipping is our homework! Brian showing off his new swing after golf lessons! (just kidding...)

Visit with Nana

On Saturday I headed out to Abbotsford to get a shopping list of repairs done to my car... I got mom to pick me up with no real plans of anything to do and then we ended up with a full afternoon! Auntie Marie called to say she and uncle Bob were visiting Nana, so we decided to join them along with Julie an Cali. Nana looks like she is doin well and although her mind is in another world, she is still Nana! After, Julie, Cali, Mom and I went for lunch at White Spot. We arrived back in Abbotsford just in time for me to get the call that my car was done. $845.00 later... my car drives like new! Yay!

Little Cali Lynn...

I am going to assume Greg got his birthday present from Julie last weekend already (Happy Birthday Greg!), so I am going to show some of the pictures I did for Julie's gift! Cali did so good posing for all the pictures when there was danger involved!!

Progress?

So, a little progress has been made on the outside renos... we no longer have a deck above our patio... some of the siding has been going up here and there in pieces... basically, its still a construction zone. We have to climb through scaffolding to get to our BBQ.

It looks like chaos just a little... but as you can see, the deck has been removed!

This pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger....

The Reception...

John and Stefanie's reception this past Sunday at their home went really well, everyone had a great time. Brian and I gave them their wedding portraits in an Album and they seemed very happy!

Brian and I met John and Stefanie at the winery yesterday to take their wedding pictures before chauffering them off to their chartered flight to the Sunshine coast to elope!

Here is the group of us when we arrived at the airport... never been to the south terminal at YVR before, pretty neat... all float planes!

Brian's dad and sister Lorissa met us at the airport for a small family send off!

45 minutes after landing at their destination, John and Stefanie got married as soon as they got off the plane! We hope they are having a great honeymoon!

Crescent Beach with Cali

(So we are working on a little gift for someone's birthday coming up...) Mom, Julie Cali and I went to Crescent Beach on Friday morning for the nice scenery, it was such a nice day and Cali just loved the space to run around like crazy and chase a few birds on the beach!

Another Reno Update

So the renos are slowly continuing but definate progress is being made! I can't help but think about how Grandma would be getting excited about a bonfire when you look at this pile in the back yard! Haha... Scaffolding is now up around the side of the house and our entrance so we currently have to go through the garage! So instead of our regualr 3 doors, we now go through 3 doors and a garage door to enter our suite... haha, I have never had to deal with so many doors to get into a house before!

More Baking...

I don't know why I am on such a baking kick lately... this morning I woke up early and baked up some pumpkin scones! They are pretty good, next time I will put a bit more pumpkin spice in them as they weren't as pumpkiny tasting as I wanted... then again, I love pumpkin.
Brian had been bugging me for apple pie, so one night last week I made myself a free form strawberry pie (I took a picture, but it looked sorta gory so I didnt post it) and I surprised Brian with a little 2 apple pie in this small ramakin! He didn't save any for me so I guess he liked it!
