My New 2010 Mazda 3 GS

Ok... Yes... I know... I did just buy the blue 2005 Mazda 3 GT 5 months ago... I had a list of problems with that car that just were not getting any better and things seemed to be getting worse on a daily basis! So, I called the dealer, said I was "dissatisfied" with my car and made an appointment to go in and talk about the options! I was shown alot of new cars that were base models... After the Tiburon and the Mazda 3 GT I really couldn't consider a base model with no features and hub caps (ugh). We were discussing what colors I would consider when Brian looked in the window of this car and got really excited over it. "You have to look in this car!!" I said no... I knew what was going to happen... the sales guy offered it to us to test drive and Brian said "Yes!!" and I again said no!! Then reluctantly changed my mind... again, I knew what would happen without even having looked in it yet. I was sold from the moment I sat in the drivers seat. I didnt think I could love another car after my Tiburon... but here we are, and its amazing!

Do you wanna drive my mercedes?

So Brian has had his Dad's Mercedes convertible for the weekend while he borrowed Brian's car as the convertable is only a 2 seater and he needed to drive people around this weekend. The car is older, but still really awesome, it has everything!

My Garden...

I keep bringing home new plants while I still have my discount at the garden centre... I dont really know what I am doing or what I am buying, but I plant it anyhow and it looks nice!

The hostas Mom gave me have started blooming!

Meteor Shower

There was a meteor shower last night between 2am and 4am. Brian set his alarm to wake us up at 2am... we sat out on the deck and actually saw quite a few meteors! The first we saw was the biggest. Brian made it 10 min before crawling back into bed. I stayed out for a half hour... I can't help but wonder how much more we would have seen if we were in the Okanagan!

Golf Practice & Dinner

Brian and I went out to practice our golf swing tonight... we got a pretty good lesson from Brian's Dad last Sunday and he wants us practicing 3 times a week along with 9 holes... haha, not going to happen, but I said I could commit to at least practicing once a week. Really do wish I could do more but, with working 2 jobs right now its kinda busy for me! After we were done at the driving range we headed out for dinner. It was a fun evening out!

My break...

My new job is going really well... my new co-workers are super nice, the drive is great being so close to home... the actual job I am finding to be very similar to what I already have been doing, just on a much larger scale. I have my own office with a huge window, an hour for lunch (so I can go home and let Tag out)... hmmm it has only been 2 days and it is such a welcome, long overdue change. I went for a walk down the street on my coffee break and sent Brian these pictures to make him jelous, it sure is nice....

Never thought I would enjoy working in farm country so much, but I do!!!
