After almost 6 years (will be 6 on Dec 22) Brian asked me to marry him! I said yes, there was no hesitation!!! He is an amazing guy and I am so lucky to have him. I can't wait to show everyone the ring in person... we have been asked lots about wedding plans and there is nothing definite yet except for probably next summer. In celebration of the engagement... here is 'us' as couple over the past 6 years in no particular order! (think I could talk Brian into engagement photos?? haha)

Sad Puppy...
Its rough being a puppy sometimes.... she was unhappy because it was bedtime and big brother Tag was still up. Why are dogs so much like kids? Weird...

Snow day!
True to what we were hearing about living in the Okanagan, we had a snow day! The night before it was lightly snowing, but by the morning we had over 6" of snow. Kona was hilarious to watch playing in the snow, she was soooo excited. Tag totally loves snow too so it was fun being in the yard with them both.
For those worried parents out there, the roads were cleared within a few hours of getting up in the morning (even our cul-de-sac) and by later in the day things were melting. Definitely safer driving in the snow out here than the lower mainland... not even a comparison!!!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween Everyone!
Julie enlisted my help for Halloween cookies again this year and I was happy to work on them as I am not currently working so it was a fun project to do. This year I added the Bride of Frankenstein and the One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater (and made the Ghosts smaller).
Kona and I drove out to Abbotsford on our own as Brian had to keep working for a few days before joining us (Tag stayed with him).
I got to hang out with Julie, Cali and Sophie and prepare Halloween treats and carve pumpkins, so fun!
We stayed with Mom and Elliott this time and the dogs all had so much fun, it was even more crazy when Brian arrived with Tag (3 big dogs running around the house!)
Poor tormented Kona... the recycling truck freaked her out so she needed to hide in the basement and was scared to go out on the lawn for the next couple days.
Halloween Night
Dad and Jeanie hosted a Halloween dinner for all us trick or treaters ... it was a fun time for all!
