A new complication...

Well, here we are... 3 days from the big move and I lost my new job yesterday... it was a mutual thing, I hated it there so much. This company wasnt truthful about the position... anyhow... more time for packing!

The Shining at the Westin Bayshore!

I stayed at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver last night for the Arbitration (Bryan was nice enough to come stay with me!). I don't know what it is... but this hotel reminded me of 'The Shining'...

Out with the old, in with the new...

My big news... I have quit my job in forensics and have decided to go back to accounting! I know everyone thinks its a crazy thing, however, its not! I can't wait to get back to the non-union world and make some real money! Unfortunately I still have to go to the current arbitration for my position... it sucks but the view from the room is quite nice.... (took this little video with my cell phone on day 1 of arbitration)

Happy 52nd Birthday Mom

Elliott has wisked Mom off on a surprise getaway to Harrison for her birthday! Only time will reveal whats to come! ;) We had mom's birthday party on Sunday. Julie cooked a turkey dinner and I made a strawberry angelfood cake dessert!

My new niece or nephew.... baby Lehner...

Julie & Greg's ultrasound... baby Lehner looks like a little peanut! Anyhow, the parents to be are very excited!

Engagement Shoot in Fort Langley

Bryan and I went out with Jenn & Carl yesterday for their Engagement shoot in Fort Langley... we were very lucky the weather held out, it rained a little only once! The wedding will be in July of 2008.

Practice in the Garden

Felt like I needed some practice today... so I went into my mom's garden... turned out well I think!

I have yet to send out an email to everyone about it being up as Bryan is still working on updating all the content/pictures! The old stuff is up... can't wait to see all the new updates! Below is the picture of Bryan and I that will be on the About Me page as Bryan will be joining me as my assistant! We went out today and did our own photoshoot of ourselves, it was lots of fun!

Hiking at Green Drop Lake (Chilliwack)

Bryan and I went hiking at Green Drop Lake today! We took Tag along with us and had a really fun time. We had a little subway picnic at the the far end of the lake... Tag took a small fall off a boulder (lucky guy was fine!)... Bryan scratched up his shin in a little 'trip' also... amazingly, I was the only one who didn't get hurt! Who would believe that??? It was really a fun day!

Nadia & Holly's Victoria Trip

Nadia and I headed over to Victoria for the long weekend! We stayed at her grandparents house in Sooke and drove into town during the day for shopping, beaches, etc!

Shopping for bags at She-She... I bought the coolest wallet!
While we were out shopping... walking down the street.... a seagull pooped on me! I hear that supposed to be good luck... but I tell you, this did not feel lucky! Drinks at the Bengal Lounge, Empress Hotel... we had a drink and enjoyed jazz music!

Can you believe I ordered a fish salad? This is very far off from my usuall club house sandwhich, but man was it ever good!
Nadia's grandparents Fred and Chris took us out for lunch on our last day in Sooke... that was so nice of them, really great couple!

Bryan and I have decided to start photographing weddings together! He will mainly assist and take care of business/website stuff while I take the pictures! Its going really well!

Bryan in Rhode Island!

Bryan started his first week at his new job training in Warwick, Rhode Island USA. I lent him my camera for his trip! (I took the classic Bryan and Holly shot so he had something on the camera to start with!)Bryan's co-worker and travel-mate Greg. Greg had a GPS which helped them get around everywhere... Obviously Bryan wants one like crazy now!
