Finally Finished!!!

I am happy to say, as of last night, I am finished with all the craziness! 2 weddings and my payroll class all wrapping up at the same time has been exhausting. Over the weekend both sets of wedding images were delivered and very well received! Last night I finished my Payroll Compliance Legislation Exam with a 76% (which will also be my aprox. overall score for the course, maybe higher...) Special thanks to Nadia for driving out to be the proctor!

I spent today out in Abbotsdford with the family... Mom, Julie, Greg and Cali! We did the usual stop for Sushi and after Cali had an afternoon nap, we all hung out at Mom's. Julie and I worked on getting some good pictures of Cali...

Happy Birthday Bryan!

Happy 32nd Birthday Bryan!!! Poor guy just wanted to let the day pass without being noticed... I called his work at about 9:30am to let his co-workers know it was his birthday! They ended up surprising him with lunch, a birthday hat and cake at the office! (Good job Sum!!)

Mom and Elliott called me at work to ask us out for dinner (for Bryan's birthday) as they were in the area... we all met at Cactus Club and had an awesome dinner. Thanks again Mom & Elliott!

After dinner I took Bryan shopping for his birthday present, a new Poang Chair from Ikea! We have been talking about getting one for a long time now, I thought this would be perfect.

Rock Band Anyone?

So Bryan and I started up our own Rock Band... well, no not really! But this Xbox game Rock Band is just awesome and we are obsessed. Bryan plays guitar and I am playing the drums... (below is my best score/note streak... yes, its on easy, but anyone who has tried drums on this game knows its not that easy!!!)We had our first guests in our new apartment on Wednesday night... Mom and Elliott and Bryan's Mom Elanne. We got them involved in our little band and had a really fun night!
PS. Elliott!! You have to try it next time!

BBQing at the Apartment!

BBQing at the Apartment is totally different than in a big back yard... still yummy though! Bryan and I are totally loving city life... lots of changes, but not one day goes by that we dont say how much we love it here! (we still miss Tag like crazy!!!)

Happy Father's Day Dad!

I drove all the way out from Coquitlam to give Dad some Father's Day peanut butter cookies! It was fun to see the changes that are being made to the house! (Dad never takes a day off!)

15 seconds of fame....

Today I finally got through on 95 Crave FM to play their famous "Battle of the Sexes" (every weekday morning at 7:45) were guys and girls play against each other with questions relating to the opposite sex. It was tonnes of fun... but, I lost!! It was for $50 cash... oh well, least I knew what a lug nut was! (didn't get those questions on Rambo or the Detroit Red Wings!) haha...

Moved... Mostly!

We got our truck all pack up today and moved everything to our new apartment in Coquitlam (just the 2 of us). 2 hours to load the truck, 2.5 to unload... long day.... very tired!! But its done. The official move in will be this coming weekend! The house in shambles before being loaded into the truck...
Tag wondering what is going on!! Actually, we figure he knows... he is a smart dog! We are going to miss him... and can't wait to get him back once we find a place we can have pets!

Odds & Ends

Tag getting the royal treatment... rather, helping himself to the royal treatment. I found him sleeping on Bryan's pillow when I came back from having a shower in the morning! Best of buds!
Mom and Elliott are in Hawaii for 2 weeks, so I ended up taking Iggy in over here... Tag and Iggy are getting along better than ever... Bryan actually set them up on the same blanket and there were no problems (I laughed when I heard he did this, but it actually worked out!)
A visit with Julie and Cali while checking on things at Mom & Elliott's place... Little Cali got her ears pierced!
Blowing bubbles... well, just more drool...

We are moving!

So its official as of yesterday... Bryan and I have found a new place to live in Coquitlam, its brand new, quite small, but perfect. (see the apartment building above) Papers were signed, money was paid! We will miss renting at Dad's in Abbotsford, but it is time for a new adventure! Unfortunately Tag won't be coming with us, but he has a very welcome home at Mom and Elliott's, I am sure he will be happy there until we find/buy a place where we can have him again!

Bryan's Brother and Sister (Sarah & John) had their birthday's over the weekend. We didn't get to see Sarah, but we had a nice BBQ at John's place.

Nadia on her way to 30!

I did some pics for Nadia and her car Roxy... after 9 years she is finally moving on to a new jetta!! Way to go! Also, a goal of hers for years now, her tattoo, finally happened as she wanted to do it before 30! It looks great!

Auntie for the 3rd time!

Well I don't normally do this... a blog with no picture! But, Katie and Ian have been giving out the exciting news that they are expecting a baby this coming December 7th! Congratulations to you both!!

The plan was to go to Dake Sushi!! Too bad it was closed... oh well... we all had a good time anyhow... pics are self explanitory!

a weekend on Bowen Island

Bryan and I spent the weekend on Bowen Island... Just a small getaway, very relaxing (but definately nothing to do on the island!). We stayed at the Sea Garden Bed & Breakfast, aside from 4x4ing to get to it, the view was just awesome. It was so nice to wake up to a view of the ocean! Bryan on the ferry on the way over to Bowen... it was only 20 minutes across... and we started to notice a wierd little thing, we were surrounded by Subaru's (I think this is all people drive on this island!).
We went on a hike to Dorman Point... it was pretty steep, but didnt take too long to reach the top!
